Our founder is a passionate STEM educator who loves to simplify science and mathematics for the curious minds. Balancing the thrill of teaching with a deep love for heritage textiles, our founder created this space for a community that truly cares about where their clothing comes from and what it is made of.
Our founder sees the world through a lens of organic and structural beauty, which stems from a few additional professional expertise. This analytical perspective gives them an impeccable eye for design & authenticity of fabric. To them, every apparel is a canvas of geometry and art. They deeply understand the importance of breathing room of white space just as much as the brilliant, sometimes beautifully irregular patterns woven by human hands.
Teestaa was born out of a profound respect for the tireless human weavers and artisans who create these crafts. We wanted to build a bridge between these creators and the people who wish to own something authentic and soulful. Our founder curates every piece you see here with the same excitement, experimentation, and care they bring to their students.
Our founder believes in sustainability and individual evergreen style & statement wear. We focus exclusively on organic, authentic fabrics like pure cotton and pure silk, we honour the earth, the hands that weave them, and the person who wears them. We intentionally keep our inventory small and thoughtful. We want to minimize waste and offer only what is real, enduring, and meticulously chosen, in short, evergreen.
